How Can We Help?

Floating

Due to the complete weightlessness experienced while floating, it is a particularly good therapy for pain that is caused by pressure. All pressure is removed from the body and it allows you to decompress which is a potent pain-relieving effect.

The water is rich in magnesium which will be absorbed by your body during the float. Magnesium has heaps of benefits for your body including anti-inflammatory properties, reducing symptoms or preventing migraines and reduce PMS symptoms. Read more about the benefits of magnesium.

Massage

Massage therapy involves a trained therapist kneading or manipulating muscles and soft-tissue to improve the wellbeing or health of their client. It can involve holding, moving, and applying pressure to the muscles, tendons, & ligaments.

Massage prompts the release of endorphins, a chemical in the brain that produces feelings of wellbeing in the body. Some of the immediate effects of massage that can reduce pain is reduced muscle tension, relaxation, increased joint mobility and flexibility and improved circulation which can promote healing and recovery in soft tissue injuries.

Sauna

Pain is often caused by inflammation in the body following an inury or illness. Sauna use reduces the amount of certain proteins in the blood that cause inflammation. By reducing these proteins, your body can start to reduce the amount of inflammation in these areas.

Saunas have been found to decrease muscle tension as well as improve joint pain and in addition, they can improve overall circulation in the body which also assists with healing and recovery.
